TBC Anniversary Phase 3 Release Date Confirmed - August 27
It’s official: Black Temple and Phase 3 of Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary go live on August 27, at 3:00 PM PDT / 11:00 PM BST. The full announcement is on the official World of Warcraft site.
What’s coming
- Two new raids. The Battle for Mount Hyjal, ending with Archimonde, and the Black Temple, where you finally face Illidan Stormrage, the Betrayer.
- New reputations. Earn standing with the Scale of the Sands (Mount Hyjal) and the Ashtongue Deathsworn (Black Temple) for raid-specific rewards.
- Netherwing. A new daily quest hub opens in Shadowmoon Valley, with reputation rewards and the epic Netherwing drake mounts waiting at the end of the grind.
- Epic gems. The new tier of gems arrives, from mining (skill 375+) and as rare drops - a clear step up over the Phase 2 cuts.
- Arena Season 3 begins September 1 with a fresh set of gear and rewards.
